On certain parts of the roof I just just stuck thin pieces of styrene on and then just sanded it back
until it was level with the other parts of the roof. It worked very well and left a very neat and clean finish.

The roof was very thin and
fiddly to do as the pieces were small and most of them had many angles and random degrees to them. I used 0.5mm styrene to make most of the roof as it was quick and easier to cut as i was making it by hand.

For the roof of the cabin I started off with a basic shape using 1.5mm
styrene. I just cut around photocopied plans to get this shape.
